Ryan Janney Family

Ryan Janney grew up near Morrisville New York. Much of his time was spent in nearby Madison working beside his grandfather and his uncle on their 86 cow dairy farm. Under the guidance of his grandfather, Ryan developed his passion for agriculture in general and cows in particular. He credits his grandfather for instilling the values of hard work and satisfaction in life’s work.

After high school Ryan attended Morrisville State University and then Cornell. A summer internship in California led to full time employment in Hilmar California. Gaining valuable experience managing cows in a large herd combined with a desire to build into a partnership gave Ryan the incentive to seek a position with Willow Bend Farms. He became herdsman at the Spring Hope facility and now manages Bonna Terra farm. In 2018 he became a partner in the Willow Bend family of farms.
